Our Friends at Bartell’s are at it again!

Now through June 30th, Bartell’s is teaming up with its customers for “Stock the Shelves”, a community food drive that benefits Food Lifeline and its food bank partners.

During the month of June, customers can donate non-perishable foods at any of Bartell’s Puget Sound locations. Customers also have the option of donating cash at the register.

All donations will help food Lifeline stock the shelves of more than 325 food banks, shelters, and meal programs across Western Washington.

Last year, the Bartell’s team raised $115,000 in cash donations, along with several thousand pounds of donated food – a BIG thanks to our generous community and customers!

“Bartell’s continues to be a corporate leader in the effort to end hunger,” says Ryan Scott, Chief Development Officer for Food Lifeline. “Last year’s food and funds helped provide for thousands of Western Washington Families. We can’t wait to see what their customer partnership creates this year.”

With today’s record inflation, the cost of delivering food to those who need it has increased dramatically. When you donate to Stock the Shelves, you’re ensuring that local food banks have the food they need to serve the more than one million people who are food insecure in Western Washington.

How can you help? Head to your nearest Bartell’s now thru June 30th and pick up an extra can or two of food for purchase. We have donation bins set up near the registers at all our stores. If you’re in a hurry, we’re also accepting cash donations at the register. Every can or $1 helps!
