Bartell Drugs adds more safe shopping measures with contactless payment and transaction options

December 15, 2020

SEATTLE– As COVID-19 continues to impact our communities, our lives and our daily routines, Bartell’s remains focused on providing secure and sanitized transaction methods to customers who prefer to shop in stores.

In addition to touch-free payment options Apple Pay, Google Pay and Samsung, Bartell’s is now offering PayPal and Venmo. Along with this suite of touch-free payments, shoppers may now receive receipts email, enabling a complete touch-free transaction. These new features are now available in all 67 Puget Sound area locations.

Customer and employee safety and piece-of-mind are of paramount importance as we continue to move thru a COVID surge in cases in our region. We hope these two new options demonstrate our ongoing commitment to our customer and employee base that their well-being and safety is a priority at Bartell’s, said Ken Mahoney, SVP of Operations for Bartell’s.

As Bartell Drugs moves through its 130th holiday season, the company’s additional precautions around COVID-19 will ensure holiday shopping in the stores is as comfortable, safe and stress-free as years’ past.
