$181,382 raised during Bartell’s Toy ‘N Joy drive

SEATTLE- In partnership with The Salvation Army and local radio station WARM 106.9, Bartell’s has hosted Toy N’ Joy for 17 years. This program is designed to collect new, unwrapped toys for local children during the holidays.

“We are so grateful to Bartell Drugs and its customers for their commitment to helping local families during the holiday season” said Lt Colonel Bill Dickinson, divisional commander of The Salvation Army in the Northwest. “Together we are making the holidays a little bit brighter for our neighbors in need.”

The donation drive was extremely successful thanks to generous customers who donated at their neighborhood Bartell’s. This year, $181,382 worth of toys was donated through Bartell’s Toy ‘N Joy program to the Salvation Army. Volunteers have sorted all the toys and families supported by Salvation Army shopped for their children on December 17th at CenturyLink Field Event Center at no cost to them.

‘Tis the season for holiday cheer and Bartell’s is excited to be a part of spreading joy in the local community.
