This position is a fabulous foot-in-the-door for those interested in pursuing a role in management. We work closely with you on a training path to become an Assistant Manager. As a Second Assistant, you’ll work with the Store Manager in the operation of a profitable, safe and clean retail environment.

I’ve worked for Bartell Drugs for just over 2 years, starting as a second assistant manager and working my way up to my current position as store manager. One of the highlights so far has been getting to help open the company’s new store in Ballard as an assistant manager, which was awesome! What I really enjoy about Bartells is our loyal guests. I’ve worked at a few stores now, and each location has those guests who talk about how their parents and grandparents have also been loyal shoppers for many, many years. It’s just great to hear!
