Located off the Mountain Loop Highway in the North Cascades, Lake 22 is 5.4 miles roundtrip with an elevation gain of 1,350ft. This trail is pet friendly, and generally good for kids who don’t mind a bit of a climb towards the end. Once you reach the lake, the trails well-maintained boardwalks and bridges make a loop very pleasant and easy.Learn More

This hike’s just west of Stevens Pass in the Central Cascades. It’s 7.5 miles roundtrip with an elevation gain of 3,300ft. Despite some pretty steep switchbacks leading to the top, you’ll absolutely love the striking, vibrant blue color of the lake created by the glacier that feeds into it. Plus, this trail offers hikers encouragement along the way with huckleberry bushes that line the trail leading to the summit. Yes, you need to enter a lottery for a pass to The Enchantments. We’re here to encourage advanced hikers and backpackers to do so! Located near Leavenworth in the Central Cascades, The Enchantments is 18 miles one-way with an elevation gain of 4,500ft. Those lucky enough to get their hands on an overnight pass will experience an alpine paradise of granite worn smooth by glacial ice, brilliantly-colored larches in September, and stunningly blue lakes strung together by a tumbling creek.Learn More
