A pandemic creates widespread uncertainty, but one should never have to wonder where their next meal will come from. During the month of June, Bartell’s will be collecting non-perishable food items to support a local organization, Food Lifeline, that partners with 300 foodbanks, shelters and meal programs in the 17 counties of Western Washington. With many factors affecting their supply, Food Lifeline is in need of additional resources in order to help as many people in Western Washington as possible.

The Food Lifeline organization provides, on average, 45% of the food that the agency partners receive. All donations will remain local and support individuals and families in the Puget Sound.

How can you help? Head to your nearest Bartell’s now thru June 30th and pick up an extra can or two of food for purchase. We have donation bins set up near the registers at all our stores. If you’re in a hurry, we’re also accepting cash donations at the register. Every can or $1 helps!
