The pandemic created widespread uncertainty both in our communities and beyond, but one should never wonder if, when, or from where their next meal will come. This June, Bartell’s will be collecting non-perishable food items to support a local organization, Food Lifeline, that partners with 300 food banks, shelters, and meal programs in the 17 counties of Western Washington. With many factors affecting their supply, Food Lifeline needs additional resources to help as many people in Western Washington as possible.
The Food Lifeline organization provides, on average, 45% of the food that the agency partners receive. All donations will remain local and support individuals and families in the Puget Sound area.
How can you help? Head to your nearest Bartell’s now thru June 30th and pick up an extra can or two of food for purchase. We have donation bins set up near the registers at all our stores. If you’re in a hurry, we’re also accepting cash donations at the register. Every can or $1 helps!
