Fun fact: The 1,000 cherry blossom trees that are at the festival were gifted to Seattle by the Japanese government.

Naches Peak Loop – Early spring is the perfect time to hit the trails and enjoy the wildflowers in bloom. Naches Peak Loop provides many opportunities to enjoy the scenery along the 3.2-mile hike! This trail also has an incredible view of Mount Rainer that you’re sure to enjoy.
Top Pot Doughnut 5k & Kid’s Dash – Doughnuts and running don’t seem like an obvious pairing – but this is a 5k that everyone can get behind! On Sunday, April 28th, gather your friends and family to take part in this fun run to benefit Childhaven, an organization dedicated to helping children throughout the Puget Sound. San Juan Safaris – This is a great time of the year to check out the Orcas aboard a whale watching cruise! This fun, unique family adventure takes you around Friday Harbor in the San Juan Islands in search for families of whales enjoying the warming waters.
