November staff picks are here! See what made the cut for our employees’ favorite products this month.
Beard Guyz Beard Butter “This is some really cool stuff – my go to grooming product. I simply add this to my beard and goatee to keep it hydrated and conditioned at all times. After washing with Beard Guyz wash, I just towel dry and massage butter into my facial hair and skin and out the door I go. Easy to use and always keeps me looking fresh!” – Rigo L., Store Manager, Canyon Park
For over a decade, Beard Guyz has been bringing quality product to the marketplace at affordable prices. They carry an entire line of men’s grooming products including beard wash, beard oil, moustache wax, styling foam, and more.
Maybelline Lash Stiletto Mascara “Adding a layer of mascara is the easiest and quickest way to brighten your face and make you look awake. I’m always on the lookout for mascara that lengthens, volumizes, and has a good eyelash-separating bristle brush, and Lash Stiletto does exactly that. It doesn’t clump, and within 60 seconds I’ve got long dark lashes – no need for falsies!” – Tanya S., Social Media and Events Specialist
Maybelline has been a staple drug store brand for years. The company began over a decade ago when Thomas Williams noticed his sister Mabel applying Vaseline and coal dust to her eyelashes (and thusly named the company after her). As one of the original inventors of mascara, Maybelline remains a top worldwide brand in all things lashes.
Carnation Sweetened Condensed Milk “I love Carnation Sweetened Condensed Milk! Especially in fall, I make sure I always have two cans in my pantry so I can whip out a pumpkin pie in an emergency. Or I make Dulce de Leche in the Instant Pot, or put it in my coffee when I run out of half & half. Anyway, I pick up a can almost every time I shop at Bartell’s.”– Marco D., Senior Solutions Architect IT
Carnation sweetened condensed milk has been a staple in pantries for decades. Owned by the Nestle company, Carnation has been a go-to brand and ingredient for thousands of recipes for pies, bars, and other delicious baked goods. A delicious way to sweeten coffee or tea as well as pouring over ice cream!
Fran’s Chocolates “It’s a higher end, Seattle produced chocolate. My favorite flavor is the Almond Gold bar – dark chocolate with almonds and caramel. A delicious chunk of chocolate!” – Tony M. Store Manager, Renton Highlands
Fran Bigelow opened her first chocolate shop in 1982 and is now considered one of the most renowned chocolatiers in the country. Along with the 4 storefront locations within the greater Seattle area, Fran’s also has 3 locations in Japan. The lineup includes everything from truffles to caramels to chocolate bars, hot chocolate, and more.
