Toy n' Joy
Nothing beats the look on kids’ faces when they find festively wrapped packages under a twinkling tree. But Santa needs all the help he can get to make sure every child experiences that special moment. That’s why, for the ninth year, Bartells is partnering with the Salvation Army for the “Toy ‘n’ Joy” Giving Tree Drive. From Nov. 11 to Dec. 14, we’ll be collecting new and unwrapped toys, which will be distributed to thousands of underprivileged kids throughout the Puget Sound. Last year, you gave more generously than ever—we received a 13% increase in donations! Let’s make the holidays even merrier in 2012.
It’s easy to give:
- Look for the “Toy ‘n’ Joy” displays in our stores, where you’ll find gift tags with suggested toys for girls and boys of all ages.
- Drop off new, unwrapped toys appropriate for children up to 14 years old at your neighborhood Bartells.
All toys collected will be distributed the week before Christmas through Salvation Army’s toy warehouses.
