EVERETT—After 21 ½ years at its previous location, Bartell Drugs is renewing its commitment to the Silver Lake community of Everett by moving its existing store to a new and larger location. The store’s grand opening is set for Thursday, February 2 at 10 a.m.
The all-new store is located at 11020 19th Ave. NE in Everett---directly south and across the parking lot from its existing location. The store will encompass 15,035 square feet, nearly 2,100 square feet larger than the original site.
The larger store will feature a two lane drive-thru pharmacy, along with expanded convenience food and health and wellness departments. In addition, the new store will also offer a PixPlus department—which offers four digital print kiosks and a broader selection of camera and sound electronics.
“We are constantly focused on ways in which we can improve and enhance our customer’s experience in our stores,” said George D. Bartell, chairman and CEO of Bartell Drugs. “The expanded square footage of this new, free-standing location has enabled us to offer a broader selection of products in several departments, as well as add several consumer friendly features like the drive-thru pharmacy.”
Dykeman Architects designed the store and Gaffney Construction Inc. is the general contractor.
Bartell Drugs owns and operates stores in King, Snohomish and Pierce counties. Family owned for 115 years, it is the nation's oldest drugstore chain. For more information on Bartell Drugs visit www.bartelldrugs.com. |
