“Purchase A Miracle” for a child in need at Bartell Drugs
SEATTLE—Bartell Drugs is helping support “miracles” at Children’s Hospital and Regional Medical Center by participating in the 2005 Purchase A Miracle campaign through June 15.
Customers can purchase selected “Purchase a Miracle” products at any of Bartell Drugs 53 locations. Bartell customers will be able to identify these products by the “Purchase a Miracle” shelf tags. A portion of the proceeds generated from the sales of participating manufacturer’s products will benefit Children’s Hospital’s “Uncompensated Care Fund.”
“Children’s Uncompensated Care Fund fills a vital need in our community by giving families in need the ability to provide high quality emergency medical care for their children, without having to worry about medical bills,” said George D. Bartell, Chairman and CEO.
Since the program’s inception in 1988, nearly $4 million has been raised.
Family owned Bartell Drugs owns and operates stores in King, Snohomish and Pierce counties. The 115 year-old company is the nation's oldest drugstore chain.
