New site offers user-friendly interface and new online customer service offerings
SEATTLE—Bartell Drugs has launched its sleek, new modern website (www.bartelldrugs.com).
Designed by Seattle-based Peak Systems, the new website incorporates a sleek, user-friendly interface into a modern design layout. The new design now makes it much easier to refill prescriptions, locate and map store locations, print weekly coupons, browse in-store specials, e-mail customer feedback and discover information on Bartell’s community involvement and employment opportunities. It also offers a comprehensive health information center, which provides information and resources on health related topics.
According to Rebecca Siegmund, assistant vice president of marketing for Bartell’s, aside from supporting the company’s in-store customer service offerings, the new site will help save customers time by enabling them to place orders and find information easily.
Several new features have also been added to the site in an effort to enhance the company’s online customer service offerings. Customers can now place digital print orders online and select the store at which they can pick up the prints the next day. In addition, the company has also added a special area for seniors where they can get information on the Together RX prescription discount program and the new Medicare prescription discount card program.
Utilizing a Common Criteria Evaluation Assurance Level 4 (EAL4) certified Cisco PIX firewall for protection, the new site—hosted by Peak Systems—will provide Bartell customers with reliable and secure access to the website and will better support the efficient transfer of data and e-mail.
Family owned Bartell Drugs owns and operates stores in King, Snohomish and Pierce counties. The 114 year-old company is the nation's oldest drugstore chain.
