Bartell Drugs helps brings cheer to children through the Salvation Army Toy Drive
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
SEATTLE—Bring a little joy into the lives of disadvantaged children and families this holiday season by donating new, unwrapped toys at any Bartell Drugstore location during Bartell’s Salvation Army Toy Drive, November 24 to December 15.
Toys collected during the drive will be taken to the Salvation Army’s “toy warehouses” for distribution to disadvantaged children and youth the week prior to Christmas. Last year, nearly 30,000 disadvantaged people benefited from the program in King County alone.
The Salvation Army’s annual toy drive has been brightening the holidays of low-income children and families in King, Snohomish and Pierce Counties for over 20 years. All of the children who receive toys from the drive come from families living at or below 125% of the Federal Poverty Guideline.
The Bartell Drug Company is the nation’s oldest drugstore chain. The family-owned company has 52 stores in King, Snohomish, and Pierce counties.
