FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
SEATTLE—Northwest Folklife Festival attendees will be able to map out their festival game plan by picking up a free souvenir guide listing all of the event’s activities, at any Bartell Drugs location through May 26. The annual festival will be held on Memorial Day Weekend, May 23-26, at Seattle Center.
Serving as the Puget Sound’s unofficial leap into summer, the four-day festival brings together artists from the Pacific Northwest and special guests from around the world to create an ethnic extravaganza of music, dance, crafts, food, and more. Bartell Drugs is a supporting sponsor of this year’s event.
Admission to the festival is free with a suggested donation of $5.00. Festival hours are from 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. Produced by Northwest Folklife, the event attracts over 6,000 participants and 200,000 visitors each year.
For more information about the event visit the festival’s website at www.nwfolklife.org.
