SEATTLE – In preparation for the opening of their newest store in Edmonds, Bartell Drugs has made new store manager appointments in Edmonds and Snohomish, Kingsgate and the University district.
Kelvin Nesvog has been named as the new store manager of Bartell’s new Edmonds store when it opens in June and Michael Storbakken has been named manager of Bartell’s Snohomish location. The new manager of the company’s Kingsgate store is Stuart Gedney and Steve Hammack has been promoted to manager of Bartell’s University Way location.
Nesvog was previously the manager at Bartell’s Snohomish store. The Edmonds resident has worked in the management team at Bartell Drugs for over 18 years and first assumed the role of store manager at the company’s Kingsgate store in Kirkland.
Storbakken, an Everett resident, has worked for Bartell’s for over four years. He was formerly the manager of Bartell’s Kingsgate location in Kirkland.
Kirkland resident, Stuart Gedney was formerly the manager of the company’s University Avenue store. Gedney began his five-year career with the company as a second assistant manager at Bartell’s Bellevue location.
Steve Hammack has been working for Bartell’s for over 16 years—starting as a cashier clerk at the company’s University Village store. The Everett resident was previously the assistant manager at the company’s Seattle store on Broadway and Pike.
The Bartell Drug Company is the nation’s oldest drugstore chain. The family-owned company has 51 stores in King, Snohomish, and Pierce counties.
