Bartell Drugs’ 4th Annual Toiletry Drive aims to help
provide needed items to area homeless
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
SEATTLE—Help make the day a little easier for a homeless individual or family by donating new toiletry items at any Bartell Drugs location during their 4th Annual Toiletry Drive, April 28 to May 5. Bartell Drugs and their vendors are kicking the drive off with an initial donation of 10,000 items to this year’s drive.
Toiletries collected during the drive will be donated to the Union Gospel Mission for distribution among the area’s homeless throughout the rest of the year. Over the last three years, Bartell Drugs and their customers have donated over 82,000 items to the Mission.
The Union Gospel Mission has been providing aid and comfort to the homeless of Seattle for over 71 years.
The Bartell Drug Company is the nation’s oldest drugstore chain. The family-owned company has 51 stores in King, Snohomish, and Pierce counties.
