March of Dimes WalkAmerica to help prevent
premature births in Washington State

SEATTLE—People interested in helping prevent premature births in Washington State can pick up a brochure or volunteer form for the upcoming March of Dimes, WalkAmerica at all Bartell Drugs locations in King, Snohomish and Pierce counties through April 26. This year’s walk will take place on Saturday, April 26 at Seahawks Stadium in King County and Wilson High School in Pierce County.
Proceeds generated from the walk will be used to support lifesaving research and innovative programs to prevent premature births and birth defects. Last year over $1 million dollars was raised by the participants in Washington State’s seven WalkAmerica events. Bartell Drugs is a supporting sponsor of this year’s event.
