SEATTLE—Bartell Drugs is getting into the holiday spirit by participating in several community activities this holiday season, including:
Super Pet Photo Contest
Bartell Drugs invites local pets to put their best paw forward as they kick off their Seventh Annual “Super Pet Photo Contest” that benefits the Seattle Animal Control Shelter. Throughout the month of October, customers can submit their favorite photo of their pet into the “Super Pet Photo Contest” at any Bartell Drug location. Winners will receive prizes range from Bartell gift certificates and photo processing to Petco gift certificates. The contest deadline is October 31 and one winner will be selected from each store. In addition, a portion of the proceeds generated from all film developed at Bartell’s will be donated to the Seattle Animal Control Shelter. Last year Bartell’s donated $5,400 and over the past six years the company has donated more than $25,000 for animal care at the shelter.
Disney On Ice presents Disney/PIXAR’S Toy Story 2
Bartell Drugs has joined with Disney On Ice as an exclusive partner for a special Toy Story 2 Family Night at the Tacoma Dome on Wednesday, October 30 at 7:30 p.m. and at the Key Arena on Wednesday, November 6 at 7:30 p.m. Coupons good for a $10.00 Family Night ticket are available at all 50 Bartell Drug locations until November 6. Regular admission tickets range from $12.00 to $50.00. Toy Story 2 brings together characters from the first Toy Story—Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Rex, Bo Peep, Hamm and Slinky® Dog—with their new friends—spunky cowgirl Jessie, stinky Pete the Prospector and Bullseye, Woody’s faithful steed—in an exciting and heartwarming tale of friendship and loyalty.
Christmas In Seattle
Bartell Drugs is a supporting partner of the 12th annual Christmas In Seattle holiday show, November 29 & 30 and December 1, 2002. Coupons good for $1.00 off regular adult admission are available at all 50 Bartell Drug locations. Seattle’s largest holiday gift show is being held at the Seahawks Stadium and Exhibition Center and features over 500 displays of unique gift and décor items, gourmet food and live entertainment. Show hours are from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday. Free limited childcare is available daily at the show. Admission is $8.50 for adults, $6.50 for youth and seniors and children under age 10 are free.
