SEATTLE—Bartell Drugs is proud to be the primary sponsor of the City of Hope’s Walk for Hope against Breast Cancer on Sunday, October 6 at Marymoor Park in Redmond at 10:00 a.m. The proceeds generated from the 10/5k walk or 5k-leisure walk will benefit the City of Hope Foundation, one of the largest private organizations funding research dedicated solely to breast cancer.

Over two million women currently have breast cancer and half of them don’t know they have it. More than 90 percent of breast cancer patients survive when cancer is detected in the early stages and treatment is begun promptly. Last year more than 1,500 people participated in the event and raised over $138,000 towards the prevention, early diagnosis, treatment and cure of breast cancer.
