New store managers named for Bartell Drugs’ locations

SEATTLE—Bartell Drugs has announced store manager changes at several locations. They include:
Federal Way resident Monte Turpin, formerly the manager at Bartell’s Riverton Heights store in Tukwila, has been named manager at Bartell’s new University Place location when it opens on August 1. Turpin has worked for the company for 23 years—starting as an assistant manager at Bartell’s Kingsgate store when it opened in 1979.
Rogelio Iraheta, a Bartell employee for over three years, has been promoted to manager of Bartell’s Riverton Heights location. The Seattle resident was previously the assistant manager at Bartell’s Jefferson Square store in West Seattle.
Bartell Drugs is the nation’s oldest drugstore chain. The family-owned company owns and operates 50 stores in King, Snohomish and Pierce counties.
