“Pets-In-Waiting” start New Year with big donation for blankets, treats and toys

Local businesses have raised over $25,000 for Seattle Animal Control Shelter over past six years
WHAT: Bartell Drugs, Kodak Processing Labs and Petco will be presenting a donation of $5,400.00 to the Seattle Animal Shelter. The funds were raised as a result of Bartell Drugs’ annual Super Pet Photo Contest.
Visuals—selected cats and dogs will be brought out to receive toys, treats etc.
Of Note—Winning pet and owner, “Jake” (a mixed terrier) and 10 year-old Grady Marshall of Seattle will be on hand. The Marshall family adopted “Jake” from the shelter.
Don Jordan, Executive Director of the Seattle Animal Shelter, will be available for comments regarding pet adoption and care.
The Super Pet Photo Competition has raised over $25,000 for the shelter over the last six years. The contest has generated thousands of entries.
