Retail Cashier/Clerk
As a Cashier/ Clerk, you provide friendly, courteous and efficient service to Bartell’s customers. In addition, Cashier/Clerks are responsible for:
Entering sales on the cash register and customer service
Merchandising, store inventory and product ordering
Maintaining store signage and displays
Second Assistant Manager
This person is in training to become an Assistant Store Manager and will effectively assist the Store Manager in the operation of a profitable, safe, clean retail drugstore. This person will assist in maintaining positive employee and customer relations at all times.
Pharmacy Assistant
As a Pharmacy Assistant you will greet customers and enter most of the patient purchases on the pharmacy cash registers. Pharmacy Assistants allow the pharmacists to focus the majority of their attention on the patients and not on the cashier duties. You will assist in a limited capacity with other various functions of the pharmacy under the direct supervision of a pharmacist within the guidelines of federal, state, and local legal requirements. Registration with the State of Washington is required. Bartell’s will assist with registration if necessary.
Pharmacy Technician
As a Pharmacy Technician, you will work under the supervision of a pharmacist to deliver quality patient care and excellent customer service. As allowed by law, your duties may include:
Assisting pharmacists in filling prescriptions
Using our computer system to process prescriptions and assist patients
Handling phone inquiries
Entering patient purchases on pharmacy cash registers
Pharmacy Technicians must be certified by the State of Washington.
Staff Pharmacist
As a Staff Pharmacist, you will be responsible for all aspects of Pharmacy Operations within the store including inventory, personnel and security with emphasis on customer relations. The individual responsibilities are shared equally by all Pharmacists within the store.
Head Pharmacist
The Head Pharmacist is responsible for Budget Control in addition to the responsibilities of the Staff Pharmacist.
