Poison Prevention Week
The 50th Anniversary of National Poison Prevention Week is March 18-24, 2012. Poisonings are the leading cause of accidental death in Washington, surpassing car crashes and falls. Children, teens, adults, seniors and pets are all at risk. Mr. Yuk will be appearing at two of our stores to remind children and adults of the dangers of poison and to remind them that the Washington Poison Center (WAPC) ishere to help: young, old, and everyone in-between. Pick up your Mr. Yuk stickers at any of our neighborhood locations.

Warm 106.9 Teddy Bear Patrol℠
At Bartells, we want to make sure that every child in need gets a "bear hug." From March 5 to April 1, you can drop off a new or gently used teddy bear, no larger than 12", at any of our locations. Teddy bears collected are used by police officers, firefighters and hospitals to calm and comfort frightened, injured, or lost children.

Visit one of “Bartell’s Best Bet” photo viewpoint locations marked on the Woodland Park Zoo map, or find your own special lookout, and capture your image. Then print your photo and enter it at your local Bartell Drugs photo department for a chance to win great prizes.
